Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.
It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

The Project
Perched elegantly on the Kastella coast and overlooking the Gulf of Faliro, the Kastella Building is an architectural composition that extends its vision beyond the city. Designed as a sculptural apartment block, its streamlined form engages thoughtfully with the geometric complexity of the seafront landscape below, reimagining it as a framework for modern coastal living.
The evolution of cantilevered terraces blends rectilinear and curvilinear forms, creating a gentle play of shadow and light. This fusion of shapes enhances the building’s architectural profile, resulting in a noticeable silhouette against the skyline. The building seamlessly melds with the surrounding residential context, balancing solid external façades with louvered panels and elevated private atrium gardens.
Inside, the Kastella Building’s architectural framing allows for expansive, light-filled interiors that enhance the connection between residents and the captivating exterior landscape. The southwest orientation maximizes natural sunlight, while triple-glazed, floor-to-ceiling windows ensure unobstructed views of the sea and horizon. This commitment to sustainability is reflected in the building’s high environmental performance, including the use of premium materials that complement the energy-efficient design.
The Kastella Building exemplifies contemporary coastal living, combining elegant design with the beauty of nature to offer residents a distinctive and cohesive living experience.
