Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.
It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

The Project
The program refers to three vacation residences that interact with each other as they emerge naturally from the ground. Inspired by ancient Greek architectural principles, particularly those seen in Cycladic monuments such as those on Delos Island, our design incorporates the historical practice of avoiding straight lines in favor of soft curves. This approach, which was used to harmonize the built environment with its natural surroundings, creates an organic integration of human development with the landscape, resulting in a unique visual experience.
Our proposal adopts these ancient Cycladic principles to celebrate the fluidity of the terrain, translating it into a responsive and sculptural architectural form. The smooth, organic lines of the design seamlessly blend with the natural contours of the site, creating gentle transitions between the land and built spaces. This design strategy forms natural cavities around the residences, supporting planted terraces that connect the architecture into the hillside while offering both functional and aesthetic benefits.
The massing of the buildings is carefully fragmented, responding to the topography with a thoughtful articulation that respects the cliffside location. The abundant local rock is repurposed into terraces, which serve as a foundation for vegetation, reducing solar exposure, shielding the residences from northern winds, and providing privacy between the living spaces. This approach also minimizes the visual impact of the buildings when viewed from the road, as the structures nestle into the land, complemented by in-situ rock and natural textures.
The elegant, white architectural lines rise from the landscape to define livable spaces, creating an immersive residential experience. These spaces open up to outdoor relaxation areas, infinity pools, observatories, and fireplaces, each framing unobstructed views of Paros Island. The overall composition merges with its surroundings while celebrating the sculptural essence of Cycladic architecture, offering a refined, modern interpretation of timeless design principles.
