Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.
It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

The Project
Nestled in the heart of Eliniko, this elegant apartment offers a fresh perspective on Mediterranean living. Designed as an immersive experience, the residence seamlessly blends with its surroundings, capturing the essence of coastal living by introducing elements of the sea and natural landscape into the home. From its open-plan layout to its careful selection of materials & colors, the house follows the rhythm of the sea, mirroring the water and becoming one with the landscape.
The spatial arrangement, highlighted by expansive glazing, creates an open plan that enhances the connection to the outdoors, elevating the living experience while offering unobstructed views of the coast. The primary living areas occupy the front of the house, providing a privileged view, while secondary spaces are thoughtfully positioned in the back.
Earthy tones and materials were selected to strengthen the connection to the beach, from the inside out. Shades of beige echo the sand, while carefully selected Aegean blue elements in the dining area, such as the chairs, reflect the water of the sea, reinforcing the coastal living feel without detracting from the landscape. The use of wooden tiles, along with locally sourced stones and marble set the tone for bespoke furniture choices, merging elegance with a deep connection to nature. Standalone elements, such as the kitchen table and living room chaise lounge, serve both as decorative features and functional spaces.
The private quarters of the apartment reimagine refined comfort, offering a master bedroom with uninterrupted sea views. An expansive spatial arrangement, combined with meticulous material selections, integrates luxury with coastal living. This cohesive design philosophy extends throughout the home, creating a harmonious flow that connects every element of the residence.
