Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.
It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

The Project
Completed in 2015, Athinon Building is a distinctive residential complex in Voula comprising six residences that offer a fresh approach to modern coastal living. This design challenges conventional design paradigms while maintaining a timeless elegance through its use of straight lines and simple forms.
The building’s clean and minimal geometry ensures that it remains a classic in the architectural landscape, blending contemporary design with enduring appeal. Its varied levels and asymmetrical windows create a striking visual rhythm while optimizing the flow of natural light. These expansive openings frame impacting views of the surrounding landscape, inviting the outdoors into each residence and fostering a strong connection to the environment.
The cascading arrangement of levels imbues the structure with a sense of movement and depth, creating spaces that are interconnected yet create a privacy feel. While embracing modernity, the building’s simplicity in form ensures it remains grounded and in balance with its surroundings, evoking a quiet refined sophistication.
Interior spaces emphasize openness, with uninterrupted transitions between indoor and outdoor areas. Private terraces and balconies extend the living spaces outward, allowing residents to enjoy the Mediterranean climate in their own sanctuaries. Carefully curated materials and finishes add a layer of warmth and elegance, enhancing the overall living experience.
Athinon Building is more than a residential complex; it is a thoughtfully designed project that merges innovation with classic design principles. By balancing simplicity, functionality, and aesthetic beauty, it contributes as a notable addition to Vouliagmeni’s architectural character, capturing the essence of modern Mediterranean living.
