This architectural project consists of three beachfront maisonettes in Glyfada, designed with a strong emphasis on sustainability, aesthetics, and harmony with nature. The concept integrates modern minimalism with a deep respect for the surrounding environment, creating a balance between luxury living and ecological mindfulness. The design draws inspiration from natural elements, blending organic materials like wood with contemporary textures such as exposed concrete and clean white plaster. These materials not only enhance the aesthetic appeal but also contribute to the overall sustainability of the structure.

The building most striking feature is the tree incorporated into the rear façade which serves both a functional and symbolic purpose. By day, it provides shade and blends the structure with its lush surroundings. By night, it transforms into a theatre of shadows, as strategically placed lighting casts dynamic patterns across the surface, turning the façade into a captivating visual experience. This interplay of light and nature underscores the project’s goal of creating a home that evolves with its environment. The maisonettes are elevated on columns, allowing for open ground-level spaces that promote natural airflow while providing unobstructed views of the coastline. Cantilevered terraces extend outward, offering shaded outdoor spaces and enhancing privacy while framing views of the sea. The seamless integration of greenery throughout the property, from landscaped surroundings to vertical plantings, creates a sense of immersion in nature.
