Architecture exists through our embodied experiences; we understand the world through our senses, creating a dialogue and an attachment with the built environment. Our proposal seeks to embrace these sensorial essences, capturing the natural beauty of the Mediterranean landscape to create a complete holistic architectural programme.

Responding directly to the surrounding parkland and coastline, our proposal creates a simply yet rich design language that encompasses local sights, sounds and smells, specifying a natural palette of materials and landscaping features that will evolve and change with the seasons.

The internal programme of the residences is defined by the lightness of its architectural framing, with a minimum of disruption to the expansive views of the sea, gardens and the horizon. The structural intricacy creates dramatically spacious and light-flooded interiors on every floor, with a south-west orientation ensuring the maximum exposure to the sun as it arcs across the sea.
