61m luxury super yacht refit

A new interior design programme for a luxury 61m motor yacht that responds to the boat’s classic exterior profile. The bespoke re-design demonstrates a confidence with pattern, material and texture, bringing together aesthetic influences from past eras of high-fashion couture. An effortless mix of formal styles and casual details sees simple, graceful lines integrated with a collection of warm and tactile soft-furnishings, featuring a color palette of iris blues and warm oranges and bronzes. Chestnut and oak woods are featured throughout the cabinetry specification, with tables, chairs and wardrobes all designed in-house, and featuring decorative details and patterns that imbued with traces of a traditional craft vernacular.

The new programme moves the main living and dining areas to the upper deck, creating privacy when anchored in harbor, and features an open-plan day lounge, dining area, and a bar with games and cinema room. An inside-outside experience is offered across the extended sun deck, with a skillfully configured, retractable semi-transparent textile screen providing shade when necessary during the day, but by night capturing exhilarating views of the night sky above. The Master bedroom has been re-configured to position a forward-facing bed presented towards an enlarged front window that offers extensive panoramic views of the seascape ahead. Walk-in closets and bathrooms are offered to either side for maximum comfort.
